Registration is now open for the 2021 MNPS Summer Band and Orchestra Clinics! The clinic dates are Tuesday, June 1-Friday, June 4. The Orchestra Clinic will be held at John Overton High School for rising 6th-12 graders, and the Band Clinic will be held at Nashville School of the Arts for rising 6th-9th graders. The student registration deadline is May 21, 2021 or until all spaces are reserved, whichever comes first. Due to the extra planning involved for Covid safety, we will NOT be able to take registrations past the May 21 deadline.
Our typical camp experience will look different this year due to Covid-19. Instead of band and orchestra camp, we are hosting band and orchestra clinics. Clinic activities will not consist of any large ensemble work. Rather, students will be split up into smaller groups in different classrooms and outdoor areas to allow for social distancing as well as more individualized instruction. We are thrilled to offer this opportunity for a cost of $20 per student.
